Wall bars

Definition
A device that is permanently fixed to the wall intended for training and rehabilitation to regain and/or improve body movement and balance and/or for strengthening the limbs and the trunk of the body. It will typically be used by a person with a disability or a patient that has suffered a stroke for rehabilitation. It typically consists of an upright framework that is fastened to the wall and that has a series of horizontal bars at equal distances placed one above another to which the person can hold to pull/move themselves upward and downward and perform gymnastic movements.
