It was reported to boston scientific corporation that a compliance endokit was used during a colonoscopy procedure on an unknown date. According to the complainant, during set up, the tech noticed that there was a fingernail inside of the kit. The kit was discarded and the procedure was completed using another compliance endokit. There was no serious injury nor adverse patient effects reported as a result of this event.
