The customer called ascensia customer service to seek help with her contour next one meter. During the call, a control test was run by the customer and a reading of 213 mg/dl was obtained at 10:47 a. M. The meter did not automatically mark it as a control test, and so the reading will be displayed as a blood result when accessing the meter's memory. There was no allegation of an adverse event. The customer was advised to return the product for evaluation. Replacement meter kit was sent to the customer.
