It was reported an unknown patient required placement of an ultrathane mac-loc locking loop multipurpose drainage catheter in the pancreas. The operator reported the device was "broken at the bit of the hub". Images provided by the customer indicate the hub of the catheter separated. As reported, the patient did not experience any adverse effects or require any additional procedures due to this occurrence.
