It was reported that during an unspecified procedure, the physician was "collecting" stones endoscopically with a ncircle tipless stone extractor when it was discovered that one of the basket wires had broken. Another ncircle tipless stone extractor was used to complete the procedure. No adverse effects to the patient were reported due to this occurrence.
