Device report from (b)(6) reports an event as follows: it was reported that on (b)(6) 2020 during a posterior spinal fusion (psf) procedure to treat a lumbar spinal stenosis while the screw (179722945) was being inserted into the sturdy bone, the tip of the screwdriver (2797224009) broke. The fragmented tip and the screw were removed and the procedure was completed with replacements with less than a 30-minute surgical delay.
