It was reported to boston scientific corporation that a speedband superview super 7 device was used during a procedure performed on (b)(6) 2020. According to the complainant, during the procedure, an elastic band was tried to be deployed; however, two bands were deployed at the same time. Reportedly, the bands fell off and did not adhere on the tissue. No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event. Boston scientific has been unable to obtain additional information regarding the event to date, despite good faith efforts.
