Gil 1% Iodine Wound 

Topical Antiseptic

For Animal Use Only

WARNING Causes Eye Irritation. May Be Harmful If Swallowed.

Keep Out Of Reach Of Children

For use on horses, cattle, swine and sheep as a topical antiseptic prior to surgical procedure such as castrating and tail docking; for application to the umbilical stump (naval) of newborn animals; and for the aid in treatment of minor cuts, bruises, teat sores, and abrasions.

Active Ingredient

      *From alkyl alcohol ethoxylated iodine complex (as iodophor) 

Inactive Ingredients

      Water, nonionic surfactant, pH buffering agent.............. 99.00%

FIRST AID

EYES: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes occasionally lifting the upper and lower lids. Contact a physician immediately.

INGESTION: Do NOT induce vomiting. Drink large amounts of milk or water. Contact a physician immediately. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Precautions

  • KEEP FROM FREEZING. If frozen, discard.
  • Do NOT get in eyes or on clothing.
  • Do NOT take internally.
  • Do NOT allow to contaminate food. Wash thoroughly after handling.
  • Keep container tightly closed when not in use.
  • Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight.

CAUTION

  • If redness, irritation, or swelling persists or increases, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian.
  • Not for use on burns or in body cavities or deep wounds.
  • If used on or near the teats or udders of dairy animals, wash teats and udders thoroughly before milking to prevent milk contamination.

Directions

Fill dedicated sprayer with product. Hold approximately 4-6 inches from area to be sprayed.

  • For abraded skin, spray area once lightly. Repeat daily as necessary until area has healed.
  • For the umbilical stump of a newborn animal, apply 2-3 times a day until the stump has dried.
  • For use prior to a surgical procedure, allow a 10-minute contact time.

Do NOT return unused product to original container.
