ACTIVE INGREDIENT

Composition:

Active ingredient: Chlorhexidine digluconate, 0.5% (w/w).

Inert ingredients: QS, including 6% emollients.

Kenocidin is a stable Chlorhexidine digluconate, skin film forming and skin conditioning teat dip.

DESCRIPTION

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

Directions For Use:

Kenocidin is supplied ready to use.

*Post-milking dipping:

Dip the teats of lactating cows immediately after each milking.

*Extended usage:

When the cow is dried off, dipping the teats should continue daily for 3 to 4 days.

Ensure that three quarters of the teat length is completely covered.

The dip cup should be replenished as necessary.

The dip cup should be emptied after milking and washed before reuse.

Ensure udder and teats are thoroughly cleaned and dry before the next milking.

If product in dip cup becomes visibly dirty, discard contents and replenish with undiluted product.

Do not reuse or return product to the original container.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

Storage and disposal:

Store upright in the tightly closed original container.

Protect from freezing.

If the product is frozen, thaw in a warm place and shake before use.

Dispose of any unused product and empty containers in accordance with guidance from your local waste regulation authorities.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

Warnings and Precautions:

Keep out of reach of children.

Do not dilute or mix the teat dip with other chemicals.

For animal use only.

For external use only.

If signs of disease persist or appear, consult your veterinary surgeon or veterinary practitioner.

Discard any teat dip that becomes contaminated.

Avoid contamination of feed or feedstuffs.

May be irritating to eyes or mucous membranes.

May be harmful if swallowed.

If in contact, flush thoroughly with water.

If any harmful contact with the product seek medical advice immediately.

Wash hands after use.
