Iodine Tincture 7%™ is a topical antiseptic that should be used full strength for superficial cuts, wounds, abrasions, insect bites and bruises on the skin of animals.

Toxic if swallowed. May cause eye irritation.
Precautionary statement(s):
Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames. No smoking. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using this product. Wear protective clothing, and eye and face protection.

Not for use on burns, deep cuts, or body cavities.
First Aid:
External: : If irritation occurs, flush with plenty of cool, running water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before reuse.
Eyes: IImmediately flush with plenty of cool, running water. Remove contact lenses; then continue flushing for at least 15 minutes, holding eyelids apart.
Internal: Call a physician immediately. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth, then immediately drink one or two large glasses of water or milk. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Inhalation of vapors: Should not occur with proper use of this product.
Most important symptoms/effects, acute and delayed: None known.
Immediate medical attention and special treatment needed, if any: If swallowed, give starch paste, milk, bread, egg white, or activated charcoal. A 5% solution of sodium thiosulfate (photographic (“hypo”) may be administered orally at a rate of 10 ml per kilogram of body weight.
DIRECTIONS:
Use full Strength for superficial cuts, wounds, abrasions, insect bites and bruises on the skin of animals. Apply iodine with a swab.
If necessary, clip hair around the area being treated and clean with soap and water.
Apply Iodine Tincture 7%TM only once daily. dilute product 3 to 1 if repeating application.
Do not apply under bandage.
Irritation may occur if used on tender skin areas. If redness, irritation, or swelling persists or increases, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian.
STORAGE:
Store at 2-30 degrees C (36-86 degrees F).
