OPD - Oxy Pre Teat Dip
AIDS IN REDUCING THE SPREAD OF ORGANISMS THAT MAY CAUSE MASTITIS Fast-acting sanitizer Conditioning formula is gentle on cow's teats
Teats and udders should be thoroughly washed and dried before milking, using potable water, a suitable cleanser and individual paper or single use cloth towels to remove soil and to prevent contamination of milk.
DIRECTIONS:
Pre-Milking: Fill teat cup with OPD. Do not dilute. Before each cow is milked, dip/spray the teats as far as possible into the teat cup containing OPD. Wipe teats dry after dipping/spraying, using single- service paper towels or single use cloth towels to avoid contamination of milk. Udders and teats which are heavily soiled should be washed before using a pre-milking teat dip/spray. Teats should then be dried with a single service towel and dipped/sprayed in OPD, wiping the teats dry before milking.
IMPORTANT: Do not mix OPD with any other teat dip/spray or other products.
NOTE: OPD is not intended to cure or help the healing of chapped or irritated teats. In case of teat irritation or chapping have the condition examined by a veterinarian.
Avoid freezing - if frozen, let thaw and shake thoroughly before using.
