A device that is a component of a diagnostic x-ray system that has a powered/programmable table with electronic and/or software controls for table top positioning, table height and/or motion relative to the x-ray beam specifically designed to position and support a patient during cardiac or other vascular examinations or interventional procedures requiring the use of an angiographic x-ray system. It may incorporate accessories for use in various cardiac and non-cardiac, e.g., cerebral or renal, angiographic imaging or angiography guided interventional procedures. It may be a stationary or mobile unit.
