An electrical power kit designed to convert the operation of a bed from, e.g., manually-operated to electrically-powered, typically from the mains electricity (AC-powered) line. This kit can include an electric motor, gears, controls, cords, and appropriate connectors. Bed power kits are used for conversion of an otherwise mechanically (manually) operated bed into a power operated bed.
