Cyclodialysis cannula

Definition
A sterile rigid or semi-rigid tube intended to be used during an ophthalmic surgical procedure to create a channel between the anterior chamber of the eye and the suprachoroidal space to enable excess aqueous humour to drain and reduce intraocular pressure in the treatment of glaucoma. It typically has a curved shape with a proximal Luer connection. This is a single-use device.
