Denture retention spring

Definition
A non-sterile device intended to stabilize upper and lower dentures in the mouth by applying opposing pressure between the two removable prostheses. It consists of a spring mechanism intended to be permanently attached to both the upper and lower dentures, typically in a dental laboratory; it may include a component(s) to facilitate attachment to the dentures. This is a single-patient, reusable device.
