A membrane made of dissolvable materials (e.g., paper, synthetic polymer) intended to be attached to a toilet seat to form a hanging receptacle to directly receive and hold stool, from where a sample is collected. Also known as a stool collector, bag or catcher, it can be flushed down the toilet after specimen collection. This is a single-use device.
