Medical device cleaning validation indicator

Definition
A cleaning indicator intended to be used to verify the complete removal of organic (e.g., blood, proteins) and/or inorganic (e.g., cleaning agents, rust) substances from medical devices, prior to sterilization, performed by medical device cleaning machines/washers. It is typically in the form of colour-changing test strips or liquid reagents. This is a single-use device.
