Orthopaedic adhesive tape

Definition
A very long and narrow sterile flexible band (typically of fabric or plastic material), coated on one side with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, designed to bind appendages in orthopaedic procedures. It can often be used as an alternative to a plaster of Paris or gypsum cast due to its lightweight properties when applied. This is a single-use device.
