A sterile, hand-held device intended to be connected to the medical gas supply (air/oxygen) to apply a pressure-regulated jet stream of non-medicated topical solution (e.g., sterile water, saline) to mechanically irrigate, clean/moisten, and decontaminate a wound. It consists of a hand-held applicator with a nozzle and shield, and connection tubing for attachment to the medical gas supply and a solution bag. This is a single-use device.
