A substance or reactant which may include bromelin, ficin, papain and/or trypsin enzymes intended to be used in immunohaematological testing of a clinical specimen to enhance or potentiate agglutination reactions by enzymatically digesting red cell membrane proteins and removing sialic acid residues.
