An endoscope with a rigid inserted portion intended to be used in plastic surgery for reconstructive operations, the suction of subcutaneous tissue, or vein harvesting (e.g., for implantation as a coronary bypass graft). It is inserted percutaneously into the body. Anatomical images are transmitted to the user by the device through relayed lens optics or a fibreoptic bundle.
