Tonsil suturing hook

Definition
A hand-held, shaft-like, manual surgical instrument designed to grasp, guide, or direct suture during surgery on the tonsils. The device tapers toward the distal end to form a right angled single hook or multiple hook; multiple hooks are usually in parallel and fenestrated. The proximal end forms a handle which may vary in shape. This is a reusable device.
