Walking/running assistive sock

Definition
An elasticated garment in the form of a sock intended to be tightly worn over the leg and foot, typically by patients with a neurologic disorder (e.g., stroke, brain injury, multiple sclerosis), to apply compression and elasticated resistance to assist dorsiflexion (backward bending) of the ankle and foot, and proprioception when walking/running. This is a reusable device.
