Cryogenic analgesia unitA device designed to provide analgesia (the alleviation of pain) by applying extremely low temperatures (freezing) to body tissues. The device consists of a cryostat and cooling probe, and sometimes a peripheral nerve-block stimulator (nerve stimulator).
