Fish Bone Bite Trays (FBBT) are dental bite trays used to obtain an impression of a patient's teeth and alveolar process (bony tooth sockets). The tray features a rigid structure with an embedded stainless-steel reinforcement frame that helps maintain the shape of the impression while allowing the tray to be adjusted to accommodate patient anatomy when necessary. The stainless-steel edge frame also minimizes distortion and securely supports the impression material. FBBT is designed with a thinner and longer profile to improve accuracy and stability during impression procedures.
