IntelePACS is a suite of software forming together a Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS). It is a digital system for acquiring, storing, moving, and displaying pictures or digital image information. IntelePACS allows the acquisition of images from a multitude of imaging modalities with the usage of the DICOM standard. IntelePACS can be used within a single site or over multiple sites. In a multi-site setup, IntelePACS will facilitate image transfer from one site to the other for image display or archiving.
A software program dedicated for installation on a central server as part of a picture archiving and communication system (PACS) to allow storage, retrieval, analysis, and management of a broad range of radiological images throughout the healthcare system. As a PACS-dedicated software, it is not primarily intended for diagnosis support, triage, or treatment planning. It does not incorporate adaptive/dynamic machine learning (ML) models.
