The Slide Stainer SS2-mini System has been designed to be used by trained laboratory professionals as an aid to in vitro diagnostics by immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization and related applications. The purpose of the Slide Stainer SS2-mini System is to facilitate the procedures used in these techniques: application of reagents (deparaffinization and antigen retrieval, antibodies, probes, detection systems, etc.) to tissue sections, cell cultures, liquid-based cytology samples or smears of human origin. This system is designed to automate the manual staining methods commonly used in immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization and others.
