A mobile, mains electricity (AC-powered) device designed to use laser Doppler techniques to measure the velocity of micro- and macrovascular blood circulation to assess of the extent of vascular flow restrictions [e.g., clots, stenosis, mechanical damage, a...
A stand-alone assembly of devices on wheels for mobility designed to continuously or intermittently administer a mixture of gases [e.g., oxygen (O2), ambient/medical air, nitrous oxide (N2O), anaesthetic agents] to provide a patient with an appropriate leve...
A non-electrical device that is used to measure the volume or flow of urine from a patient, either during the course of normal urination or while the patient is catheterized. The device may include a drip chamber to reduce the risk of retrograde bacterial c...
An electronic device intended to be used to measure the flow and volume of urine from a patient during the course of normal urination in order to identify micturition disturbances. It is usually operated by healthcare personnel who instruct the patient to e...
A device that is a module of a cardiopulmonary bypass system and that is used to control and measure the flow of gas supplied into the oxygenator. It is calibrated for a specific gas and has a high degree of accuracy at low flows. It may be a flowmeter.
