Gutta percha cutter
An electrically-powered, hand-held device intended to be used to cut gutta percha pins inserted into the root canal of a tooth. It is typically a hand-held device with a thermoelectric wire (e.g., nickel-chromium alloy) at the distal end which delivers heat...
Synthetic gutta-percha
A dental material made from a polymer-based, synthetic gutta-percha containing fillers and radiopacifiers in a soft resin matrix, intended to fill the root canal of a tooth. This material has the ability to resist leakage significantly better than natural g...
Gutta-percha injector
A hand-held, pistol-shaped, electrically-heated device used to deliver warmed and softened gutta-percha to the dental root canal. Sticks of gutta-percha are inserted into the device and thermally softened before being squeezed out with the ejection trigger ...
Endodontic obturation system
An assembly of devices intended to be used during endodontic treatment involving root canal obturation procedures. It may be used in a variety of modes, e.g., to provide continuous heat to the tip of a dental instrument to test tooth response to thermal sti...
Chloroform gutta-percha
A dental material made from the coagulated sap of certain tropical trees, that is dissolved in chloroform and intended to fill/seal the root canal of a tooth. It may also be used to soften natural gutta-percha based points. After application, this device ca...
Endodontic obturation system handpiece, material extrusion
A handpiece, which is part of an endodontic obturation system, intended to backfill and down pack gutta-percha (extrude) during root canal treatment or root canal obturation. Resistive heat is applied through this device around a heat chamber to heat up a c...
Natural gutta-percha
A dental material made from coagulated sap of certain tropical trees intended to fill the root canal of a tooth. This material is softened by heat and inserted into the root canal, where it hardens as it cools. After application, this device cannot be reused.
Endodontic filling/sealing material
A prefabricated, solid dental substance used in endodontics to fill or permanently obturate the root canal of a tooth. The substance may set without assistance of moisture, and is typically intended for orthograde use (i.e., a root filling placed from the c...
Endodontic filling/sealing material
A prefabricated, solid dental substance used in endodontics to fill or permanently obturate the root canal of a tooth. The substance may set without assistance of moisture, and is typically intended for orthograde use (i.e., a root filling placed from the c...
Endodontic obturation system generator
A mains electricity (AC-powered) device, which is part of an endodontic obturation system, intended to regulate the electrical current used to provide resistive heat for treatments involving root canal obturation procedures. It may be used in a variety of m...
