Purpose

Patient Preoperative Skin Preparation First Aid Antiseptic

Uses

  • for preparation of the skin prior to an injection
  • first aid to help decrease the risk of bacteria contamination in minor cuts, scrapes

Warnings

Flammable, keep away from fire or flame

For external use only

Do not use 

  • with electrocautery procedures
  • in the eyes or apply over large areas of the body
  • longer that 1 week unless directed by a doctor 

Ask a doctor before use if you have

  • deep or puncture wounds
  • animal bites
  • serious burns

Stop use and ask a doctor if

  • irritation and redness develop
  • the condtion persists for more than 72 hours
  • the condition gets worse

Keep out of reach of children.

If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Centre right away

Patient Preoperative Skin Preparation

  • Clean the area
  • Dry and repeat procedure

First Aid Antiseptic

  • Clean the affected area
  • Apply a small amount of this product on the area 1 to 3 times daily
  • Maybe covered with a sterile bandage
  • If bandaged, let dry first
