DRUG FACTS

Active ingredient

Tolnaftate 1%

Purpose

Antifungal

Uses:
■ cures most: ■athlete’s foot (tinea pedia) ■ jock
                         itch (tinea pedia)
■ relieves: ■itching ■ cracking ■ burning
                  ■scaling

Warnings

Do not use:
■ on children under 2 years of age unless directed
by a physician ■in or near the mouth or eyes
■ for vaginal yeast infections

For external use only
Stop use and consult a physician if irritation occurs or
if there is no improvement within 4 weeks (for athlete’s
foot or ringworm) or within 2 weeks (for jock itch)

Keep out of reach of children

When using this product, avoid eye contact with the
eyes. If eye contact occurs, wash thoroughly with
water. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a
poison control center right away

Directions

Wash the affected areas with soap and water, dry
thoroughly, then apply sparingly over the affected
area. Use twice daily (morning or night) nor as
directed by a physician

Supervise children in the
use of this product

For athlete’s foot: pay special
attention to spaces between
the toes; wear well-fitting,
ventilated shows and change
socks at least once a day

For athlete’s foot and
ringworm, use daily for 4
weeks. For jock itch, use daily
for 2 weeks. If condition
persists longer, consult a
physician
