Dosage and administration

This product is formulated for use as an iodine source for manufacturing iodine based germicidal products.   Note: Product must be thoroughly mixed before use.  

Storage and handling

Thoroughly rinse all measuring devices.  Avoid contamination of food or feed .  Store in cool, dry place .  Keep container tightly closed when not in use.  Store locked up. Dispose of contents/container to an approved waste disposal plant.

HAZARD STATEMENTS: 

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS SECTION

Causes severe skin burns and eye damage.  May be corrosive to metals.  ​Do not mix with chlorine containing products. ​Deafly chlorine gas will form.  Do not breathe dust/fumes/gas/mist/vapors/spray.  Wash face, hands and any exposed skin thoroughly after handling.  Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.  

FIRST AID: 

PRECAUTIONS SECTION

​Immediately call a ​Poison Control Center ​or doctor/physician.

​If in Eyes:  ​​Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes.  Remove contacts lenses, if present and easy to do, Continue rinsing.  Immediately call a ​Poison Control Center ​or Doctor/physician.  

If on Skin (or Hair): Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower.  Wash contaminated clothing before resue.  

If Inhaled: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.  Call a Poison Control Center or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.  

​If Swallowed: Rinse mouth.  ​Do Not ​induce vomiting.
