INDICATIONS & USAGE

Antiseptic KC Shampoo: combines a proprietary formulation of Chlorhexidine, Ketoconazole, Chitosan and Alkyl Polyglucoside for enhanced antiseptic activity.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Antiseptic KC Shampoo is a broad spectrum cleansing shampoo for the management of dermatological conditions responsive to Ketoconazole and Chlorhexidine. The proprietary formulation also contains a unique combination of Chitosan and Alkyl Polyglucoside that reduces microbial adhesion to the stratum corneum, disrupting over colonization on the skin surface and augments to delay the initiation of irritation by topical opportunistic pathogens. Chitosan in the formulation is a natural biopolymer that creates a protective film on the skin and hair, reinforcing the hydrating and restorative effects of the formulation.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Shake well before use. Wet the hair coat with tepid water and apply small quantities of the shampoo from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Massage shampoo over the pet’s body to ensure good contact with the skin. Leave on hair for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water and repeat. May be used initially 2 to 3 times a week for four weeks, then reduce use to once a week, or as directed by your veterinarian. Do not allow the animal to lick while bathing to prevent ingestion.

​PRECAUTIONS: ​For topical use on dogs, cats and horses. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If contact occurs or skin irritation develops, rinse thoroughly with water, discontinue use and immediately consult a veterinarian.
