do not take morethan directed (see overdose warning) Adults and children 12 years of age and older: take 2 tablets every 4-6 hours while symptoms persist do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor Children under 12 years: consult a doctor

OTC - ACTIVE INGREDIENT SECTION

Acetaminophen 500 mg

Phenylephrine HCl 5 mg

Purpose

OTC - PURPOSE SECTION

Pain relieve/fever reducer

Nasal decongestant

Uses

INDICATIONS & USAGE SECTION

  • temporarily relieves these symptoms associated with hayfever and other upper respiratory allergies
  • headache
  • sinus congestion and pressure
  • nasal congestion
  • minor aches and pains
  • helps decongest sinus openings and passages

Warnings

WARNINGS SECTION

Liver warning: This product contains acetaminophen. Severe liver damage may occur

  • if you take more than 4,00 mg acetaminophen in 24 hours, which is the maximum daily amount
  • with other drugs containing acetaminophen
  • 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day while using this product

Allergy alert: Acetaminophen may cause severe skin reactions. Symptoms may include:

  • skin reddening
  • blisters
  • rash

If skin reaction occurs, stop use and seek medical attention right away.

Do not use

OTC - DO NOT USE SECTION

  • with any other product containing acetaminophen (prescription or nonprescription). If you are not sure whether a drug contains acetaminophen, ask a doctor or pharmacist.
  • if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibiter (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before use.

  • heart disease
  • high blood pressure
  • diabetes
  • thyroid disease
  • difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland
  • liver disease

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are

OTC - ASK DOCTOR/PHARMACIST SECTION

  • taking the blood thinning drug warfarin.

Stop use and ask a doctor if

OTC - STOP USE SECTION

  • nervousness, dizziness or sleeplessness occur
  • pain or nasl congestion get worse or last more than 7 days
  • fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days
  • new symptoms occur
  • redness or swelling is present

OTC - PREGNANCY OR BREAST FEEDING SECTION

If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.

Keep out of the reach of children.

OTC - KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN SECTION

Overdose warning: In case of accidental overdose, getmedical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Promt medical attention is critical for adults as well as children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
