Each pound contains 90.7 grams (20%) of lasalocid sodium in a carrier suitable for incorporation in feed. 

Indications for use

For the prevention of coccidiosis in

Target Species:	Caused by:
Broiler Chickens:	Eimeria tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. mivati, and E. maxima
Growing Turkeys:	E. meleagrimitis, E. gallopavonis, E. adenoeides
Rabbits up to 6 1/2 weeks of age:	Eimeria stiedae
Chukar Partridges up to 8 weeks of age:	Eimeria legionensis

Mixing directions

Thoroughly mix the following amounts of Avatec to make one ton of Type C medicated feed to provide from 68 g per ton (0.0075%) to 113 g per ton (0.0125%) lasalocid sodium concentration. When adding less than one pound of Type A medicated article per ton of feed, it is recommended that the Type A medicated article first be mixed with a small amount of unmedicated feed (10-25 lbs.) prior to incorporation into the final Type C medicated feed..

Feeding directions

Broiler Chickens and Growing Turkeys
Feed as the sole ration a Type C medicated feed containing 68 to 113 g per ton (0.0075 to 0.0125%) lasalocid sodium. The dosage range allows adjustment of drug level to severity of exposure. The higher levels are indicated for severe exposure. Consult a poultry disease diagnostician for advice regarding the optimal level of drug.

Rabbits up to 6 1/2 weeks of age
Feed as the sole ration a Type C medicated feed containing 113 g per ton (0.0125%) lasalocid sodium.

Chukar Partridges up to 8 weeks of age
Feed as the sole ration a Type C medicated feed containing 113 g per ton (0.0125%) lasalocid sodium

WITHDRAWAL PERIODS

No withdrawal period is required when used according to labeling.

User Safety Warnings

Not for use in humans. Keep out of reach of children. When mixing and handling lasalocid sodium Type A medicated articles, use protective clothing, impervious gloves and a dust mask. Avoid contact with eyes. Operators should wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.

Animal Safety Warnings

Do not allow horses or other equines access to Type A medicated articles or Type B medicated feeds containing lasalocid as ingestion may be fatal. Safety of lasalocid for use in unapproved species has not been established.
