Warnings Liver warning This product contains acetaminophen. Severe liver damage may occur if you take more than 6 single doses in any 24 hour period. Sore Throat Warning If sore throat is severe, persists for more than two days, is accompanied by or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting, consult a doctor promptly. Do not use with any other medicines containing acetaminophen (prescription or non prescription). Ask a doctor or pharmacist before using with other drugs if you are not sure. if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. Ask a doctor before use if you have liver disease heart disease thyroid disease diabetes high blood pressure glaucoma difficulty in urination due to enlarged prostate a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus) persistent or chronic cough as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers When using this product do not use more than directed may cause excitability especially in children be careful when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness may cause drowsiness avoid alcoholic beverages Stop use and ask a doctor if redness or swelling is present fever gets worse and lasts more than 3 days pain, nasal congestion, or cough gets worse or does not get better within 7 days or are accompanied by a fever cough comes back or occurs with rash or headache that lasts you get nervous, dizzy or sleepless new symptoms occur These could be signs of a serious condition.
