Definition
A dedicated battery-powered device used to wirelessly recharge the battery of a gastric contractility modulation (GCM) system's implanted pulse generator (e.g., through transcutaneous inductive energy transfer and usually by device recognition). The device may be used to recharge the pulse generator battery in the home by the patient.
